Message from the Present of the Youth Ushers:

Welcome to our Bethel Baptist Youth Ushers website.  We are very happy that you have found us!

Our Youth Usher group range from ages 6 to 19.  The youth are encouraged to work, play, learn

and grow together.  With the age range that we have, the older ushers teach

the younger ones the value of service.

The shared experience that the children learn is to work together as a team that glorifies  God through their deeds of serving.  They also learn that the smallest deed can make a difference in someone’s life.

Helping children learn about God is important today because everyone strives to find God’s plan for themselves.  For young people this can be a daunting task.  It takes commitment to prayer and learning the attributes of being quiet and listening.  For the very young this can be a difficult task; however, for the older youth prayer and solitude will help them listen for God’s voice.  No matter how old we are, we continue to search for God’s intentions for us.

    Dear Sis. Reed,
Your post is inspiring. Encouraging young people to learn to play, learn, and work together is much needed in this society. I enjoyed your post as well. Teaching patience in learning Gods plan is a subject of which we all need focus at one time or another.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts as the mean a lot.

    May God bless you,
